Subject	What solvent do machine shops use to clean parts?

Message	For example the heads or block? My valve cover and turbo housing and many others parts have a fair amount of oil deposits inside the passages which I can't get at with Simple Green, brake cleaner, carburetor cleaner, Gunk Engine Cleaner, or using elbow grease.
